WHAT IS IT?

We have designed our own Transition Year (TY) Insights Survey which gleans valuable insights from teenagers, asking questions like "Which career do you see opportunities in the future?" and "What global issues are you concerned with?" to understand their aspirations and concerns.

Our TY Insights Survey offer a comprehensive view of teenage perspectives, driving informed decisions and impactful support for their futures.

Our primary research shows that students are concerned about their exam performance, motivation and commitment, self-doubt and confidence, uncertainly and indecision, financial obstacles, and external factors, such as competition for jobs and AI. Students have also got various questions about their future career, including college course and subject choices, job opportunities within the field, day-to-day job aspects, positive impact and fulfilment from their jobs, and impact of technological advancements such as AI. Young people also wish that the other generations would understand that aspects, such as the need for understanding and openness, recognising individuality, and a desire for respect and contribution, is important to teenagers today.
